It all started when there was just one day left for new year there were a lot of preparations going on for the party in the evening. All of us were very excited for the party in the evening as there were just a couple of hours left. We were very joyful as midnight was approaching and as there was one minute left, we did a dance to welcome it. When it was exactly 12pm everyone was happy and were screaming in joy. We had finally completed 2023 and we also entered the life of a new beginning.
I had celebrated my new year in India which is my hometown and my journey was very long and hectic. I was travelling in Indigo airlines which is an Indian aeroplane and the flight was boring because it did not have tv. I was still filled with the inner happiness to meet with my family after such a long time. Also, all the travelling was worth to spend time and love with my family who were waiting for me to arrive. I felt so good just as I saw them at the airport coming to pick me up from there and then we went home.
2 days ago, my mom’s second sister was blessed with a second child in the morning at 10:25 am and it was a baby boy. When the child was in my lap, I felt like I was holding the cutest thing in my whole life. We took him home in the evening after all the formalities were done, we wrapped him gently before we sat in the car. Just as we took him for his checkup tomorrow the doctor said the baby has jaundice so he stayed in the hospital for 4-5 days. We could not celebrate new year with him because he went back to his house.
Finally, I was able to enjoy new year 2024 by having a party with a feast and dancing for the first time in India. We started a new year by welcoming it through a dance that every did in the party. After the party I could not sleep at night because of the firecrackers that were being lighted in another street. In the morning I woke
so late that I had to do everything in a rush so my day did not pass out to be well. I had only 2 more days to spend with my family because on January 3rd I would go back to Indonesia.
I enjoyed my vacation to India a lot and I hope that I can visit it again and meet my family for a good vacation like this this one. I also used two words called Namaste and kaise ho to greet someone or to give them respect. I didn’t go anywhere this time but I will go somewhere next time to explore more about India. I was glad that I was able to go meet my family and meet all of the members in it whom I love. I love my vacations and going to India.
